The Latest

I got an order from a client. The instructions were, "Sauron, if he were a gay pride activist." I started like I start all my tie-dye projects: by washing the article.

This helps remove some of the stain-resistance from the shirt. The dye is a stain, after all.

Once that is done, I am ready to tie up the shirt. I actually use washable markers to mark the article so I can see where and how I want to tie it.

Below is a picture of the shirt once the dye has been applied, still tied up.

The tie on this one was unique, as the client wanted the image only on the front of the shirt.

Once I have it untied, it is time to wash and process the shirt. I process all of my tie-dyed items three to four times so the dye won't run or bleed onto other items in your wash.

And here is the finished shirt:

Did I nail it? Anyway, you can order your own custom tie-dyed T-shirt HERE.
